Question: What is considered a luxury home?

Answer: Each area of the United States will determine what constitutes a luxury property. It will vary widely from Texas to Ohio to California. A $200,000 dollar home in one area can be considered a luxury property but in another it will not.


Question: How many luxury listings may I add?

Answer: You may add as many luxury listings as you wish for free. If you receive a message that you have no more credits available, please click on the 'Purchase" tab under 'My Account' and click on the free button. This will give you an additional 100 listings. You may click on the Free button as many times as you need for additional listings.


Question: How long is my listing good for?

Answer: Your listing is good for one year from the time you list a property, after which you may extend your listing for an additional year. We require a time limit for each listing to manage expired or sold properties.


Question: How can I add my listing to your front page?

Answer: The front page listings which are displayed to every visitor are called our featured listings. To have your property appear, you need to make a donation in any amount and we will place your listing on our homepage. If you would like to have the maximum amount of visitors view your listing, then you should consider a featured listing, which receives 50% more hits on average.


Question: What happens when my listing expires?

Answer: Before your listing expires, you will be notified via email. If you wish to renew, you may do so at that time, if not your listing will remain in our database for 30-days.


Question: I am not a realtor; may I list my property with you?

Answer: We mostly cater to real estate professionals, including new home builders, brokers, real estate agents, etc. If you have a property you wish to sell and would like to advertise it on Luxury Homes USA, you are welcome to do so. All we ask is that if you ever need a professional luxury realtor in the future, that you ask us for a referral. We will give you the names of all luxury agents in your area to choose from at no cost to you.


Question: Who do I notify if I have a question or a problem?

Answer: Our support team is available Monday through Friday 8:00am EST to 10:00pm EST. Please submit all questions and support issues on line at contactus.php and we will respond on a first come first serve basis.


Question: When I tried to add my listing, it would not save, what should I do?

Answer: There have been occasions when a subscriber could not save their listing. We found that in most cases the user was not inputting the correct format to the Lot Size field. We made some adjustments to our scripts so this problem should not happen anymore. Also, as we make updates to our website a user may have certain pages stored in their browser cache which could be different than the current page being viewed. We suggest clearing your browser cache and try to add or update your information again. In rare instances a subscribers computer just will not react well to our scripts, in this case we ask that you email us your listing information just as you would have entered it so we may troubleshoot the problem.


Question: How do I add my listing photos?

Answer: To add or manage your property images:

1. Login as member (login.php)

2. Click on the My Properties tab

3. Click Manage Images from the action drop down menu in the property row you wish to edit

4. Add your photos one at a time and click Submit after you Browse to the picture location on your computer


Question: Where do you advertise?

Answer: We advertise here in the United States on the top search engines, Google, Yahoo, MSN and ASK.com but we also advertise on various sites in European countries like France, Germany, England, Italy, Greece, Spain, Russia, etc. We also have advertisements in the Caribbean, Australia, Central America and South America.


Question: Is my contact information seen by visitors?

Answer: Yes, visitors may click on the 'Property Contact' tab to view your information. What is seen is you name, company, phone, email and website. We ask that our members keep their information up to date which can be done in the 'My Settings' tab after login.


Question: What is the 'Google This' link for?

Answer: We want our members listings to be noticed and not just from LuxuryHomesUSA.. So, we add this link which will bring up all Google searches for the specific address. 


Question: Can I put my phone number and email address in the property description?

Answer: Yes, you may place any contact information you wish to advertise in the description part of your listing.


Question: How long does it take for my virtual tour buttons to appear?

Answer: During the creation of your property listing, there are boxes to input your Website and Virtual Tour url addresses. After you save your listing, your Virtual Tour and Website buttons will immediately begin to work.
